Walter Barton is scheduled for execution on May 19, 2020, in spite of the limitations the COVID19 pandemic has placed on counsel and significant questions around his guilt. The ABA requests Missouri Governor Mike Parson issue a reprieve of execution and consider commissioning a Board of Inquiry to investigate further the issues in the case.
